Class Descriptions

Beginners – Level 1

The basics of yoga poses are introduced safely and step-by-step. Learn to be more aware of body alignment and proper breathing and enjoy a replenishing relaxation at the end of each class. You don’t need to be flexible; these classes are designed for both beginners and seasoned practitioners who are getting back into yoga. We suggest that all students attend regularly to establish a good foundation.

Beginners – Level 1-2

This class is more challenging as you build on poses that require a bit more strength, flexibility and balance. Learn how to connect your core to stabilise your spine, ribcage and pelvis. The practices are safe and they offer modifications of difficult postures and sequences. Core strength is developed to help reduce back pain and improve posture.

Intermediate – Level 2

Building on the foundation of proper alignment, these classes combine held poses and dynamic sequences that require strength, stamina and flexibility. Learn to cultivate a mindful presence that allows you to advance your practice towards moving meditation. Level 2 classes start to introduce more advanced poses and meditation practices to help take your practice to the next level.

Gentle Yoga

A gently invigorating blend of yoga poses, breath, relaxation and meditation. This class is suitable for beginners and people who have experience of yoga and wish to sustain their practice at a pace that feels natural. This class deeply nourishes joints, gradually strengthens arms and core and relieves aches and pains.

Yoga Nidra + Meditation

Take time to find your inner calm with Yoga Nidra, a deeply rejuvenating relaxation that brings balance to your whole body and mind. This course includes restorative postures to ease your muscles and soothing pranayama for the heart. As you make progress, you will be introduced to guided Meditations.
